Did you have fun?
Yes! I enjoyed Catch 23 very much
Did you find tools that you could use at work?
Yes, I did.
Did you find tools that you could use personally?
There were several tools I have used personally in the past that I might try to integrate more into work, like Bloglines and Flickr
Did you enjoy working with your buddy?
Since I started late I didn't have a particular buddy, but I did enjoy sharing thoughts about Catch 23 with other participants.
Are you ready for another Learning 2.0 experince?
Sure!
How could we have made this experience better?
I don't really have any complaints. I thought it was very well organized, very informative and beneficial.
Thanks to the Catch 23 Group for all your work!!

Thing 22 Podcasts
Checked out a few different podcasts. I can see how it would be a great "thing" to enjoy on my new iPod...when I get one.
Would be great to take along on drives, walks, paddling.
I have never created a pod cast but think that would be a great PR "thing" for the library.

Thing 21 You Tube Goes Riff Ram Bah Zoo
I was amazed by the number of YouTube videos from TCU, but YouTube is a constant amazement, growing at such a phenominal speed, and gathering such a huge following.
It seems like a great venue for many artists, enteratainers and causes. Fun and informative.
One of my favorites from TCU.... Something to Think About...

Thing 20 A goose goose here and a goose goose there... Google Maps and Google Earth
I did the "Thing" with TCU on Google maps. Like being able to post the interactive map directly to my blog!Very cool!
I have always enjoyed playing with Google Earth. Since I have been out at Benbrook lake a lot lately, I decided to check it out with Google Earth. Shows me what a small portion I actually cover in my kayak. Gave me ideas for new areas to explore.
Also looked at a few places where I used to paddle on the Big Island. I like that people can upload their own pictures. Really a fun tool!!!

What a great way to share and collaborate on documents...in Real Time!

Thing 18 My Wiki & Me

Thing 17 Wiki
Checked out the 5 wikis. Thought WikiTravel and WikiSource were both very cool. Both have a lot of valuable information in an easy to use format, easy to search anyway. I liked a lot of the features in WikiTravel.
Thing 16 LibraryThing
I really enjoyed creating My Library in LibraryThing, then enjoyed checking out other people's libraries. It's kind of fun to see who's reading the books I like and what else they are reading.
Thing 15 Technorati
Watched the video "How I Use Technorati. Did the keyword search for "learning 2.0". I also checked out popular blogs in Blog Central. Lots of cool stuff to browse! And that's all I have to say about that...
Thing 14 Del.icio.us
I watched the "Social Bookmarking in Plain English" video, browsed around Delicious a while and found some interesting stuff. I enjoyed checking out some other peoples bookmarks. Don't know if I will use this much....on to other things.

Things 11-13 "Flickr-Flickr"
I watched the Flickr video and added some more pictures on my Flickr account. I've had a Flickr account for a while but don't use it a lot.
Played with some of the Mashups. Checked out the latest images on some of my favorite groups like Black and White. Flickr is a fun way to browse photography.
I tried several times to add a slide show element on my blog site posting directly from Flickr, but kept getting someone elses images so eventually I went on to the next "Thing"

Missing Thing One and Thing Two
With all these new things to learn and to do
How could I not miss Thing One and Thing Two?
The very first call numbers I found as a child were for Dr. Seuss books,
and I would make my way to those shelves
at a racing pace whenever I went to the library.
My grandaughter read me the entire story,
"Horton Hears a Who," on our last phone call. What a thrill!
now on to other Things.....

Things 7 and 8 - "IM a Social Bean"
I turned my old AIM account into a Meebo account and sent a question to Jeff on the reference desk...something about ice cream....anyway...a few more "things" done.
IMing is not one of my favorite things. Kind of distracting.
I used to use IM a lot but haven't regularly in a long time. Guess I'll try it out again, at least through catch 23.
Got set up on Spacebook...or was it My Face....I can't remember...
Seriously, I've always joked about the use of both because so many students in the IC lab spend so much time on My Space and Facebook
I like blogging best!!

Things 4 - 6 "Feed Aligators"
or Feeds and Aggregators
I have set up a bloglines account and subscribed to a few feeds. One is on digital archiving, one on digital photography and one on non-digital canoe paddling. All very interesting!
I also enjoy being able to check all my fellow catch 23'ers blogs from one place. It's easy to tell where there are new posts and what's been read.

Here Comes the Sun
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darlin' it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darlin' it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Little darlin' the smiles returning to their faces
Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Little darlin' I feel the ice is slowly meltin'
Little darlin' it seems like years since it's been clear
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it's all right
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
It's all right, it's all right

Thing 3 - Bloglines
Since I got a late start with the whole program....yesterday was my first full-on, "license to play" workshop. Enjoyed checking out the catch 23 blogs. What an interesting and creative group we have here!
Got my blog site up and registered with Walter!

Thing One and Thing 2 - Habits
If there are 7 and a half habits of life-long learners...why is play only half a habit? I don't get that one. I think learning is a lot easier when it's an enjoyable experience. I know I remember more of what I learn when I learn from playing.
I think goal setting is the hardest habit for me. I usually jump right into new things without thinking about the "goals". Maybe, if I set more goals, or more specific goals, I would have a greater sense of achievement when the goals were reached.
I think my first new goal will be to play more!
